TENĐJOUGS returns to COCO-MAT Paris in a swirl of fibers and objects hand-woven with a strand of fantasy.

Just like a déjà vu? 2018 : a first adventure. Enticed by coco fibers on display, I walked through the door to discover COCO-MAT’s world of beddings. It was on the Right Bank of Paris and a first exhibit took shape : En plongeant dans le sommeil, as a dive into sleep.

Still on display, our friendly fibers. The door opens wide onto a new space now on the Left Bank with a welcome as warm as ever.

A new story starts being woven, anchored in our subject matter. At the invitation of coco, agave steps forward followed by its cohort : hemp, cotton, raw silk, textile cords and why not mohair?

In a circular weaving movement, hands are exploring the many paths of texture then opening unto colour, in pursuit of fibers swirling in their new green-house of dream and fantasy.
